This article should highlight a few key components of those differentiating factors, but by no means be a dissertation on all practices, philosophies, and strategies that have sustained our firm. The goal is to highlight a few of the key dynamics that continues to differentiate our firm as a market leader in Commercial Real Estate in Central Florida.
As a Commercial Real Estate firm, we have few things for sale: our time, our reputation and our knowledge. Our firm is built to work diligently at all of these with tenacity, zeal, and commitment.
Of course, these are global concepts that hopefully speak the unspoken about integrity, hard work, a quest for knowledge, and improvement. We are not perfect but we are committed to the success of our clients and winning for them by assisting them in achieving their real estate goals. Our collective team practices these fundamentals and we strive every day to set ourselves apart and differentiate from our competition.
Knowledge: Francis Bacon and Thomas Jefferson both stated that “knowledge is power.” One of the differentiating factors in a tertiary market like Brevard County is that most brokers dabble in all areas of CRE and residential real estate and do not specialize. Specialization minimizes knowledge gaps and allows for expertise. To focus on a specific sector of Commercial Real Estate requires patient discipline and a quest for knowledge that extends beyond a generalist practice. This concept is mirrored across a myriad of professions, whether it is law, medicine, engineering, etc., they all specialize. Expertise comes from laser-like focus, training and mentoring, all of which are a part of the DNA of our culture.
Time: A great book states that our lives are but a mist, a vapor here today and gone tomorrow. Time is one of the most valuable commodities a broker has and can give their clients. At Lightle Beckner Robison, Inc. we often hear, “it appears you are too busy.” I can assure all readers that you want a busy real estate firm since that means they are doing what they do best and that is performance! Our organization manages our time and adds staff as our satisfied clients and new clients require more time from us. A part of differentiating ourselves with time is that we require and expect all to be disciplined, focused and relentless in prospecting for our clients. Our organization works diligently to invest our time in the community through service and resources, giving back to those that give to us daily.
